Hi all,
Very sorry for the late call but Linlithgow Classsic Car Day is this SUNDAY! A lot of us attended a great day out last year and we've been asked to do so again........unfortunately, someone forgot to email everyone!!! Not me!!!
Anyway, if any of you are interested, the details are below, just make your own way there and enjoy the day.
Event Information For ' Linlithgow Classic Car Day, Central Scotland'
Date: 04/09/2011-04/09/2011 Times: 09.15 - 17.00
Car Information: All vintage and classic cars and motor bikes, modern classics and military vehicles welcome. The 1st event in 2010 attracted cars from Linlithgow Classics Car Group, and various car clubs across central Scotland including Ferrari, Porsche, JockMogs, Lothian Car Club, Hamilton Classics, the Pre67 Ford Club, Westfield, and Jowetts, among others together with various individual entries including Triumphs, Rovers, Austin Healeys, Aston Martin DB9s, Sunbeams, MGs, Westfields, Jaguars, Fords, Vauxhalls, Austins, and a Nissan GTR, with the oldest car present being a mint condition 1937 Austin Van.
Event Description: The day sees classic cars converge on the medieval town of Linlithgow in West Lothian. The programme for the day sees the cars gather at the Park Bistro beside the Millennium Link canal east of the town in the morning at 0915-0930 for registration and coffee followed by a road run round the area from 1030 onwards, returning to Linlithgow at 12.30 for lunchtime to show off the cars in the town centre at Linlithgow Palace + the Cross until about 17.00. Music and BBQ provided.
