Llanelli - Night Out Suggestions?

Prynhawn da, as we say in Wales.... I'm not sure there is much going on, the next R14 event is the following weekend, its a drive to Portmeirion in North Wales... Swansea is a good night out of course, close to Llanelli but a few miles (18) from Pembrey. Carmarthen or Tenby are also close by. Or even back to Cardiff for something classy! Try this link for the Pembrey Circuit events etc.. [link=http://www.barc.net/venues/pembrey/]http://www.barc.net/venues/pembrey/[/link] Also the Welsh Racing Drivers Association might have something going on? Hi there. Don't do it, please. Not sure about getting on to Pembrey... I live around Gower - there are some great roads but as soon as the sun appears (which is predicted) they tend to snarl up! If you do go 'west' of Swansea then I would have a snoop around the Meidrim area: http://www.streetmap.co.uk/map.srf?x=228500&y=220500&z=120&sv=meidrim&st=3&tl=Map+of+Meidrim,+Carmarthenshire+/+Sir+Gaerfyrddin+[City/Town/Village]&searchp=ids.srf&mapp=map.srf ... there are supposed to be some cracking roads 'round that way (Top Gear used it for their Jag/BMW/996 jaunt some years back (the one when they all ended up on Pendine Sands! : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9BYMTZ57Gv4 (see 2mins 34secs in) Entertainment: Swansea has Wind Street - posher at the bottom (La Prensa (drinks), La Brassaria (simple brasserie food), not so posh at the top of the street but still civilised! The Gower itself has some lovely pubs too. Be happy to recommend if you want to PM me or whatever. Have a nice time! Adrian.

Thanks, what a lovely day it is. Been for a huge walk around the Llanelli Bay trying to spot a Shelduck ..... [:D]

great roads from Storey arms to LLandovery, up to Rhayader then over to Devils Bridge, nice cafe there. Then make a route back from there.....enjoy this sunny weather
