It transpires there is another Indy near Hockley, GWR Porsche. I only found out about them recently so haven't had a chance to check them out yet. They are only two or three miles from me so could be very convenient....perhaps near to you than Autostrasse, but not much.

Hi All,
As posted in the Boxter forum, trying here as well !
Newbie here...I cannot believe they have forums for this sort of stuff as well as Fantasy Football ![
My Boxster driver side window stopped half way up recently, and after much frantic pressing and awful glass crunching noises, I gave up and manually pushed it up to the top.
My local garage does not want to touch it as there is an airbag in the door (and I think they are a bit scared to work on a Porsche). Is there a good mobile Porsche mechanic in the Essex (Southend) area, a longshot I know, or any recomended garages in the area if not?
Has anyone used GWR yet ?
Has anyone had this problem, and how much did it cost to put right ?
Another small issue is that the wheel nuts are matt, and they are a bit rusty. What is the best option, new nuts, or some sort of caps?
Cheers in advance, Si.

Rgds
Si.
I keep my cars and do not change them and so cannot understand the cachet of having an OPC service history. My experience with Mercs is that a good independent is better and cheaper. How good are HP in Hainault?
I use the guys at HP Motorsport and I can only use one word to describe them.EXCELLENT.
They have looked after my Boxsters for 3 years and apart from being spot on with their diagnosis they are polite , reasonably priced and can always fit you in if you have an emergency. Definately worth giving them a try.
Cheers
Tracy x
