Locking Wheel Bolts....

Have just had a set of new all terrain conti tyres fitted to my 2011 Cayenne. When the car was new I purchased a spacesaver wheel, jack and wheelbrace for emergency use. As I was using the lock bolt adapter with the hand brace yesterday, it slipped and flew off. Now the adapter has burred inside and I can't properly tighten the bolts!! Rang OPC who said there are about 50 adapter combinations, which of course they don't stock, and they didn't enen have any ordinary wheel bolts. So have to wait till Tuesday for a replacement and drive steady with only 4 bolts correctly tightened on each wheel. Suppose I'm going to have an argument now with OPC over who pays for the new adapter, but I think it wasn't fit for purpose if I can muck it up by hand using a porsche supplied brace, which if I'm honest is particulary angled away from the wheel, rather than being square on. Anyone else had similar problems.
