[FONT=arial"]For those of you who don't subscribe to Rennlist, please note that this coming Sunday (26th) there is a meeting organised at the Crooked Billet near Aylesbury from 11:00 am.[FONT=verdana, geneva"] [FONT=arial"] [FONT=verdana, geneva"] [FONT=arial"]It is primarily 964 and 993 orientated although everyone is, of course, welcome. The pub are happy to make coffees and breakfasts available and will be serving a carvery-type lunch later if anyone wants to stay around that long.[FONT=verdana, geneva"] [FONT=arial"] [FONT=verdana, geneva"] [FONT=arial"]There are some tentative plans to go for a drive but we have yet to make any decisions regarding where etc. Suggestions are welcome!![FONT=verdana, geneva"] [FONT=arial"] [FONT=verdana, geneva"] [FONT=arial"]The Crooked Billet is on the old A41 road between Aylesbury and Bicester near the village of Ham Green. The post code is HP18 0QJ and they have a web site at http://www.crookedbillet.com if you need any more details.[FONT=verdana, geneva"] [FONT=arial"] [FONT=verdana, geneva"] [FONT=arial"]These meetings have previously taken place at the Worcester Park pub in Worcester Park, Surrey where we have always enjoyed the hospitality of Raymond Turner but there was some suggestion that a little further North might be more convenient for some. It's a nice drive from the London area, straight up the A41 from Junction 20 on the M25. The dual carriageway takes you to just beyond Aston Clinton and then it's into the outskirts of Aylesbury, round the "ring road" to the right (watch the speed cameras) to follow the A41 towards Bicester. After going through Waddesdon "" the home of the Rothschilds "" you will come to Kingswood. There is a car dealership on the left hand side and the Crooked Billet is almost immediately on the right on the main road.[FONT=verdana, geneva"] [FONT=arial"] [FONT=verdana, geneva"] [FONT=arial"]Look forward to seeing as many 964s as we can muster!![FONT=verdana, geneva"]
