Long bendy thing fell off my car today...

I pulled out of my driveway and heard a weird grindy kinda grating noise a bit like a bit of metal was scraping on another bit of metal. I parked up and had a look at the front wheel since i thought this was where the noise was coming from. I couldnt see anything hanging off so i drove away slowly and the noise had stopped completely.

1mile at 40mph later and i heard a kinda snapping, crunchy sort of noise and then a little bumping under the car and in my rear view mirror i saw a long bendy semi circular thingy flying off into the side of the road.

I drove it straight to Porsche who showed me my front right spring has snapped in a really bad way.
The good thing is that they already had the parts on a van which was actually on the way to nottingham from sheffield.

So 20mins later im in a BMW courtesy car and my car will be fixed by the end of the day.
