Looking for a 964 C2 Project Car

Hello everyone. I'm really keen to create a bit of a hot hod/street car - basing this on a 964 C2 manual.

I know that I've missed the boat on getting a bargain... but I've gone down lots of paths with my thinking on what to do with a project car. I have settled on buying a 964 C2 manual - having considered the other options (backdating my 1976 2.7) or a 3.2 or 3.0. I did almost go for a 1972 ex race car - but this proved too expensive a route.

Does anyone know the whereabouts of a 964 - that might be going cheap? As I'm going to do the body, engine etc - I'm ok with a (relatively) rough example. Do drop me a PM or a call (0773 944 9060). Many thanks in advance. I have my fingers crossed!
 
Good luck with the search Gary. They are tough to find at the right price now. As you know mine was close price wise (although difficult to refer to as cheap) but was already sold by the time you contacted me and has now gone to the new owner.

If I spot or hear of anything I'll let you know.
 
Many thanks. I agree - a long and hard search ahead. But I am hopeful something will turn up. Just got to keep looking everyday
