Looking for a lhd 964RS...

As some of you already know, I'm looking for a good lhd 964rs. I know of three black ones on the market including the one I drove with Paul McLean, and a red one on autotrader with what might have a slightly 'pimped' interior. See piccie below - are the seats a factory colour and what about the s/wheel?.

Without causing anyone any offence, black wouldn't normally be my first choice of colour. I understand I should be buying on condition and not on colour - but in these early stages of my search I don't want to rush into buying a black one only to regret it.

Does anyone know of any others for sale out there - as Des says they seem to be a bit thin on the ground at the moment.

Many thanks,
Rich

That interior looks non-standard to me, but you could change the wheel easily enough.

In your position I'd give Paul Mclean a budget and let him find you a car. He knows the market and many of the cars and has a good contact in Germany. You might have to wait awhile though.

Pimpy interior probably special factory order looks very Hamburg Drugs Broker paint the seats red and full red cage game on.....what's the spec price etc...

Des,
I'll email over a couple of links if that's okay. Maybe you could give me your honest opinion of them?
Cheers,
Rich

Black is quite a common / popular colour for the 64RS. Would not turn down a good car because of it, but that interior is plain nasty. Yes it could be changed, but factor the cost into any negotiations.

If those are Recaros, the inserts should pull out on Velcro.

It's a bit like the hospital deck on HMS Victory......

I have just realised the value of insuring your minnie mouse on your car.... Not only can she go to sainsbury's whilst your in lectures, but she can also pick you up from town when you are 'hit and missed'.... And she can drop her friends back at the station after they've stayed round for the weekend!.... Of course if it were a porsche then there would be no chance, but seeing as its a 1 litre yaris i think its perfectly feasible!

MMMMMmmmm.... Brie and Salami and crusty bread!!!!!!
