Looking for an active 964 trackday driver (for chassis dynamics upgrade testing)

Hi all

We are currently looking for a UK 964 owner who uses his 964 regularly on trackdays and / or in race series.

We are currently developing a full blown system of chassis dynamics products for the 911 models 964 and 993 and would like to get them tested in the UK as well.
The products would be supplied free of charge to the owner, in return the owner has to spend a minimum 15 hours on the track until end of the year and then has to return the parts for detailed analysis and let us know his feedback on how the performance and handling of the car have been improved and influenced by the upgrades.

He will subsequently be supplied with a brand new set of the final serial production parts at our prime cost.

The parts are developed together with a german engineering team with several years of racing experience in the areas of race components development and production (all in Germany) and running a racing team in long distance racing as well, so all products will be top notch.

Please email me to benjamin-lukas.loertscher@deutschnine.com if interested and for more information.

Many thanks and regards

Benjamin Lörtscher

Go Mr Brookes, you know you want to...!![;)]

Have you worked out how much 15 hours of track time costs in terms of fees, insurance, tyres, brakes, fuel and food [:D]? The sums don't stack up when you take that all into account (I presume they're not paying these expenses). Oh...and I guess I'm not fast enough to be of any use to the tests [:-]

P.s. still a few spaces at Oulton on Wednesday [;)]

Benjamin

On an average track day I will do about 160-200kms per day, so two-three hours on track tops??? -and you want fifteen hours by the end of the year...........if only I had the time.....and you paid for it!!!

And TBH, I really don't think the average trackdayer would be able to feed back the information you require...

Totally agree with you Melv and although someone racing a 964 is also mentioned as a 'tester', I guess that would be problematic due to restrictions of what modifications are allowed on the car.

After browsing the Deutschnine website I've no idea of what the 'chassis dynamics products' would consist of? [&:] So come on Benjamin....give us a clue [;)]

I'm a bit puzzled too [&:]. You provide a car as part some kind of development program, shell out a load of cash, as you have quite rightly pointed out Steve, and then end up with your car back as it was; you hope[&:] for something! at 'prime cost'.
I would have thought that, if you're playing a part in the development program, the carrot has got to be some what more attractive, me thinks[;)]
