Hello!!

i am looking for parts for my 1989 porsche 944 s2.

i need a o/s/f lower wish bone - rear bush (the rubber seal bit) and a power steering pump adjuster rod!

if anyone has them that they are willing to sell or know were i can get them it would be very much appricated!

Cheers

Paul

For the wishbone Id go to Buttercup (Porschapart). For the camber mount Id buy two new upgraded/superceded parts from an OPC. Id get the remaing part off Buttercup too, as its worth next to nothing, but Id see that I told him that before I was quoted. The reason Ive suggested Porschpart for this is that most breakers will charge a similar price, but most will neither know nor care what state the joint is in: at least with Simon it should be fit and itll be accurately described.

A Hartech wishbone will be re-manufactured as opposed to used, so it depends on your budget. As-new will be far better, but itll be dearer too.

Personally, Id be looking towards hartech for remanufactured parts. I think that a distinction between new and remanufactured needs to be made too.

Yep if you do a search I'm sure this has been discussed before, there is an article somewhere written by Barry Hartech that details the differences between the Hartech rebuilt balljoint and other rebuilt balljoints. They use a special process to strengthen the socket which is something Porsche started doing on the 968 arms.
