I dare say good value at £95K? Must be totally unique..

Wonder if the guy who just paid £85k is now kicking himself!!!! [:D][:D][:D]

Stupid money, stupid mileage.[8D]

Well, 964 RHD are not true RSs anyway... Too compromised [8D][8D][8D]

Without offending RHD owners my definitve RS collection would be all LHD I think.

This is better than nice [;)], but, me-thinks, destined to be a rather joy-less museum piece.

Anybody remember the red LHD car at Ragley that struggled to bring £60k ?

Amazing, but true.

Do remember the Red 64 RS, considered it when Peter at Pink Pig had it. However I wanted to use the car I bought and thought if I put a few 000k miles on it it would lose money. Hindsight, it would have been a good buy. Didn't Thomas end up with the car and selling it? I know it seemed to be for sale for a few months.

Yes it did end up with Thomas, as Des said it would, and the market in Europe is much bigger than the RHD market.

This car would be great to own, but not to drive.

I must say, the greatest fun for me is in getting the old cars out on track, showing passengers what they can still do against some of the more modern stuff, and have them universally amazed at what great cars they are --- straight out of the box !

The bed-rock of Porsche ...

p.s. the company selling it is the collection, if correct. They also have Countach with almost zero miles, both cars at offers on £95k .... which against the 993RS that was sold for £120k in similar circumstances, may for somebody be a fair buy.

Dare I say the black car is on the money to any serious Hong kong Collector, but the colour not the best for Hong Kong, Maritime Blue and Munkee Bum the two best colours for HK. I think many see the air-cooled RS Porsche a good hedge in the current climate but must be mint accident free etc .....

I mean real hedges, the green things, very thorny, make a bloody mess of your car when you go through them after black ice...

Please do not talk about porsches and hedges in the same sentence...
