Loss of power issue

was driving to work in my 944 Lux today and when I put my foot down to the floor on the accelerator, the power totally goes. If I accelerate without flooring the pedal the it is fine. My car is regular serviced and all filters are not very old.
Can anybody please help :(

FPR could be one reason.

Before you go changing that I would probably look at the rotor arm, and plugs first (what plugs did you buy and how did you gap them?). I have had a similar effect on other cars, especially ones with pattern ignition items. I have an ignition tester you can borrow if you wish. AFM could be another one if you are still on an original item.
