My 944 S2 develops a fault after about half an hour of driving whereby the engine power drops periodically and you need to press on the accelerator to continue at the same pace. Sometimes it wobbles violently in a kangaroo fashion if you don't dip the clutch in at that point. If you pull up to a halt the engine will stall.
I had a similar fault cured 18 months ago with a 2nd hand air mass sensor, but it still doesn't seem to be the same since.
