Lost GPS Signal

Hi

Just picked up my 997 from its first major service and on the way home realised I wasn't picking up any GPS Signal on the sat nav (factory fitted system). Map is static and route finder can't find a route.

Advice anyone?

Cheers

you could have 1 of 3 problems here mate... number 1. being the sat nav lead for the aerial is located directly above the pollen filter and maybe they have knocked the connector off therefore disconnecting it, simple check yourself if you take the bulkhead trim off on the n.s where you top up the washers... it should be connected to the trim itself..
number 2. the aerial is not working anymore therfore needing a new one
number 3. reboot required.. press 148 altogether to reboot pcm..

What does the reboot do ? Wil you lose stored information of telephone , addresses, previous locations and CD title memory ?

Cheers - good advice. When I removed the trim the lead was hanging loose so I pushed the connector back in, added a bit of tape and all done. Everything is now working fine.

Thanks again.
