My sentiments exactly. If you're going to go the whole hog, you might as well start with an S2. [ORIGINAL: TTM
Nice execution but at this price I'd rather have the real article

With a reasonably-sized lottery win I would be building my dream 944, not buying one that somebody else had built (lovely though it is).
I'd have to buy something else suitably interesting and modern to pootle about in for the year or so it would probably take to get right, of course. Maybe something from Mr. Ruf.

No shame in that at all. If I thought I could run either of those two for what my S2 costs me, I'd do it in a shot. (Ignoring the fact that the E-type would be nowhere near as practical.)ORIGINAL: peanut
nice E Type and Mkll Jag in the showroom, my two favourite Jags [] sorry guys but I'd take one of the Jags [&o] hangs head in shame....

Well it is what the many of the factory racers in the 924/944 mold had, so it is accurate in that regard. Having had both, I'm glad to have my pop ups back, but will probably still swap them over to the GTR lights again. It's a win-win as far as I'm concerned.ORIGINAL: xenon
I'd probably take the Ferrari.
I don't get the swapping of the pop-ups for the faired-in look. Pop-ups are so much of the character of the car.
