Took advantage of the dry'ish salt-free roads for a good thrash today - like an overgrown Go-kart on those RS settings and the KWs, but with a wonderful soundtrack, especially as the tacho needle homes in on the red line!

Deep joy!

Anyone else been out to play?!

Happy New Year![:D]

yep also took advantage of the dry roads for a quick blast before going back to work on the 4 th all the best for the new year [:)]

Went for a little battery charge up this afternoon. Was really pleased because I haven't run her since before the snow came, engine just about turned over and caught, I wouldn't have had a second chance! What a contrast to my old S2, which seemed like it was turning over the engine in the QEII, they way it laboured to start (this is an S2 trait, for those who didn't know).

Still get can't get over that rush in 3rd gear after you hit 4,000 revs, its still feels like a roller coaster ride!

Forgot what mine looks like, let alone what it's like to drive after leaving it a body shop for some tarting up since before crimbo [:D]

Only seems like 5 minutes since it was in the bodyshop last time?!

What are you having done?

The father in law asked me what I would like for Christmas....couldn't think of anything so suggested he pay for the front PU to be sprayed...surprisingly he agreed [:D]

Not had the PU done since I got the car so there are plenty of stone chips and a car park scrape to deal with. And while it's off they're fixing a leak in the front boot that's been bugging me for ages - water going down the front drains seeps in where the boot floor meets the front of the tub through a hairline crack.

Would be really interested to know how much you have to pay for this work, if poss.

Totally agree!

I went for a blast when the roads were dry last weekend on some of North Yorks. finest. I had a geo alignment just before the snow arrived 4 weeks ago and hadn't really been out since - can't beleive what a difference it has made. Sun was out, no cars about, snow on the ground (not roads!), foot buried and sounded absolutely glorious!!

At one. [;)]

PS - got some great 60cm canvas prints of my C2 from Santa...one of which is below. Amazing how he guessed what I wanted for my home office!
