Low profile headlights

I remember the original feeler thread on rennlist, never seen him post anywhere in the UK though,

I prefer the second one too. Put it this way; I have an MX5 and I don't want MX5 "lo-pro" headlights...

I have a pair of 924GTS plexiglass front lamps. I had them fitted, but it looked naff so I put the pop-up pods on again. Still not happy and wouldn't mind buying that twin-lamp setup in the above pic. Maybe they're motorcycle lamps? There isn't a lot of space to play with - maybe 7" max

It probably doesn't help that 924/Lux headlamp covers are a different shape to S2/Turbo headlamp covers. Not realising I borrowed a set of (what we thought we universal fit) headlamp covers from Rick. They turned out to be 924/Lux and would no way fit Beaky's headlamp buckets.

Thanks mate, it's all sorted now. It was while Beaky was having his front elements resprayed. It would have meant that I could still use the car but I did the non existent venturi delete at the time so he was happy sitting in the garage without his badge panel etc.

I am about to start working on a sensible solution to this along with Alex at EMC. We are looking at the possibility of taking the LED headlamp units from some new Nissan thing.... I will of course keep you all informed of the progress.
