Lower door guard Carrera badge and centre console revamp 08 997.1 Cabriolet

My car is now well sorted. I have had all the small jobs done and it's driving and looking very well. There are two areas were I could improve over the summer. My car has a carbon pack, handbrake, shifter and areas in the dash. The centre console is black and worn in places. I remember back in 06 when I owned a 530 D tourer that I had the window controls replaced under warranty, probably the soft touch cover that was used during that era being slightly flawed. I was wondering if anyone could recommend anywhere or someone to remove the outer covering and possibly add carbon look wet transfer to the centre console to match the other parts of the interior. The second place were I could improve is the Carrera badge in the drivers side door sill. It's slightly bubbled in the centre, can you buy the insert badge, if so where from? I have seen replacement sills, seems a waste to remove the lot to replace. Thanks for any advice in advance.

Okay, I have sourced a replacement lower kick sill protector and I have read the workshop manual on how to remove and replace. Probably going to wait until it warms up a bit before I start removing 3M tape residue. I checked out the centre console removal , looks pretty straight forward.
Has anyone used this company before designls or could some recommend an alternative near St Helens Merseyside, thanks.

Stephen,
I used Linas at designls a couple of years ago to retrim the centre consul on my 997 in leather. He did a really excellent job, it looks OE quality. I dont know if he does Carbon effect. I guess you would mail it to him but I drove down. He is located on a small industrial estate next to a small airfield which has an excellent cafe. I had lunch while he removed the consul from the car (about 30 minutes). Collected it a couple of weeks later when he refitted it. No charge for doing this. He is not cheap but very good quality. Pistonheads had a lot of good reviews on his work also.

Thanks for the reply. I have mailed him and he's quoted me a price in leather. In spring I am going to dismantle and swap one he's made earlier. I don't think there will be much change out of a grand, but I think it's worth it. It's a real let down the centre console in that tatty black , thanks for all your help. If anyone thinks that's expensive then please feel free to join the debate
