Have been looking around at other 944's (mine is 89 2.7 lux) and like the rear end on the S2 and the turbo with the rear valance /lower skirt. I know they are available to buy and would like to know how difficult a job it is to fit.

will it attach to my current rear bumber or is major surgery required?

I have never touched any of mine but I don't believe they have a specific bumper. I think you would only have to make holes in the right places at the bottom of the car for the bolts to pass through and you'd be in business.

I can safely say they're easy to attach - as Fen says, you'd probably have to drill some holes.

Your best bet would be to find a second hand set (there are two seperate parts) on e-bay or similar. The new ones from your OPC are (gulp) about £2K!!!!

pictures will not open without being on memberlist...anyway round this??

I have an 89 2.7 and they look to have something missing without a rear valance/ spoiler. I fitted the turbo 2 piece one to mine.
All the holes were there. No drilling. easy job.
It's a cheapy fibre glass job, but looks fine IMO.

Cheers
Darren.
