Dear all:

I am going to fit a custom made bracket and runners to lower my RS seat. Dose anyone try it before? I will post more photos when I am done...standard H point are way to high compared with my 964C2 Tip & 997 GT3 and I have a full Matter roll cage in my RS...

Not being funny but have you tried removing the cushions ? there is a vast difference on those alone and the seat has three hieght postions on the standard bracket ?

By coincedence I've just fitted Recaro PPs in my C2 this weekend. Sliders and side mounts were supplied by Southbound. They advised me that the mounts that they supply (they make their own) are lower than the standard mounts to allow enough head room for a helmet (especially since most C2s have a gay sunroof [:D]).

However these lower mounts mean that the 3 point seatbelt receiver won't fit between the side of the seat and the centre console unless you reverse it so the buckle protrudes through the seat aperture. Obviously this would not be an issue if you are only using harnesses.
