lowering suspension

Can anyone tell me what the difference is between the various lowering spring kits? I've seen them ranging from £59 to £114 +VAT (for a 924S) and can't believe there is much difference in the product, so I guess it's all down to profit.....or am I missing something? Are some kits supposedly progressive springs?

Anyone done their own lowering, particularly the rear? I've looked at the Clarkes garage pages, and the job looks reasonably straightforward (yes, I'll get it re-aligned properly). Any advice?
