Lowest mileage 944 S2 for sale?!

Looks very similar to one I remember a few years back in one of the classic car mags - probably when I was looking so 4 years? That was at something like15k, and about £15k iirc!

Trouble was, as you say, it's de-valued the minute you up the miles, but then it's not that expensive if it's mint. No leather, though....

With main-dealer history I'd also wonder if it's on original water pump, cam chain etc. The car might actually be in worse condition if it's had loads of short trips punctuated by long breaks in a damp garage.

I guess it's really just another S2 that you'd need a lot more info about before buying.

Can't help feeling that unless you really wanted a low mileage car (can't really think of a reason) it would probably prove more problematic than one that has been used. My Caterham had done 250 miles each year for the previous 2 prior to purchase. Bits promptly fell off or stopped working when I put it into a summers regular use.
Give me one with regular use and good recent history any day.

I think this comment is spot on. I know that my S2 is better the more you use it, and my expereince tells me that a car which is normal-milage-for-age is usually beset by less problems than a garage queen.

I'd actually avoid this car, even if it was for sale for a more 'normal' S2 price.
