LSD or, No LSD..?

Hi all, just want to find out if my 968 Sport (Club Sport replica for the "Purists" on here [8|]), happens to be fitted with a LSD? Were they fitted as standard to the Sport model or, were they an option? Thanks in advance for your help [:)].
 
Yes as an option, will be on the sticker in the boot under the carpet if optioned from new.
 
Another question if I may? Instead of starting another thread [8|]. Have any of you used Swepco in your gearbox's? If so, what do you think of it? Does it give you smoother gear changes? The reason I ask this is because I used to have a very slightly "clunky" gearbox in my '44 Turbo, someone told me to change the gearbox oil for Swepco, which I did and, Lo' and behold, they were right and, the "clunkiness" went away almost immediately, giving me nice smooth gear changes [8D][:)]. Other people I have spoken to have said it is a lot of over priced rubbish and, didn't work for them. What say you all? [:)]. Do any of you have any comments, good or bad about Swepco?
 
I used to use it in the 944 many years ago but switched to the Millers fancy gearbox oil. It seems fine really, nice slick shifts and no problems. The swepco used to make the shifts feel a little sluggish to me, it seems to be formulated to provide a very high level of protection. I prefer the Millers stuff.
 
I had Swepco oil put in my 968 a few years ago and have just had it drained and replaced with the normal gear oil. The change seems better now and definitely improved when cold.
 
Ok, I'll bin the swepco idea. I have heard quite a few adverse comments lately [8|]. Millers fancy gearbox oil it is then [8D]. Thanks guys.
 
LSD was not even fitted as standard on the CS. It was an option. This has always surprised me.

The code 220 Limited Slip Differential would be present on the boot sticker, sticker on the inside front cover of the service book or on the Certificate of Authenticity.
 
Anyone know what this code is:

337 – Removal of transportation equipment

I haven't found a definitive explanation despite crawling the interweb.

Standard CS was poverty spec to to lower the price.

I think list for a 944T was £45k+ in 1991. If Porsche could knock out the 968 CS for under £30k You'd think they could have put a 2.7 head and turbo on it and sold shed loads at £35k, may have made the new Boxster and 996 look a bit silly though...
