Luggage Compartment switch broken

I over enthusiatically pulled the boot switch on the door sill today and it snapped off (thankfully the key switch still works). Has this happened to anyone else and, if so, can you tell me what it takes to get it fixed? Experience in such matters suggests to me that this is one of these small fiddly items that could end up costing quite a bit to rectify. Please, someone tell me I'm wrong!!

First one I've ever heard of..!!
I would imagine that a good indy would be quite prepared to do the work a damn sight cheaper than the OPC..
