luggage roller blind

There's a big Plilips head self tapper into the seat back through either end. IIRC you need to look from underneath to seem them.

Roller blind now. clean (infact it looks like new) and back in place..

How did you clean it Helen?

Ours looks "greyed" but I just assumed it was bleached by the sun on the upper surface (?)

i used a spray fabric/upholstary cleaner from halfords it sprays on as a foam..leave for a few mins then rub off with a clean cloth. i used 6 cloths as the blind was filthy..

BTW i thought mine was faded but it turned out it was just dirt in the grain of the plastic []

i've also cleaned the half leather seats in the same way [8D]

I find detergent, water and a nail brush good for grained plastic. Cleaners tend to frighten me a bit as you are never too sure what they will do to the surface of the plastic.

Hi Tom,
Good to see you over here, did you find the splitter thread?

Thanks folks - the rigid bits (mine isn't a roller) wouldn't go though the door of the washing machine. [;)]

I use Lux flakes and a nailbrush on the interior plastics when I get a new car (invariably they're filthy).

You dont want Lux, you want a pot of this,

Tony :ROFLMAO:

Hi Tony,

I tried that German site you gave me and it seems all they do is hot hatch stuff now.
I am gonna try and get that splitter on ebay, if nothing else it gives me a good starting point!!!

Cheers
Tom

This was the thread I was thinking of http://www.porscheclubgbforum.com/tm.asp?m=76318&mpage=1&key=splitter try emailing Martyn (first post) he is over in Germany and I thought they were both fairly recent additions to the range (strosek and DP) so would have thought they would still be available.
