Lunch at the George Hotel Stamford - Sat 3rd March 2012

Hi Everyone,

Like Jane I have been busy as well. Provisional date for lunch at the George Hotel at Stamford is Saturday 3rd March 2012.
I have booked the London Room for our party.
Same format as before. Arrive early and park in the courtyard. Browse round Stamford.
Meet 12.30 for 1pm lunch.

Look at the website. Click on food/drink. Click oak panelled restaurant. Scroll down to walk in lunch menu and select.

Can you express your interest by replying to this thread.

Menu prefs are not required until say the beginning of Feb 2012.

I will forward our prefs about three weeks before the day of the lunch.

First off let us wish you both a very happy, healthy and prosperous New Year.
For the first time, we will be back from Potugal in time for your Stamford lunch at the George. Is there still space for 2 ? If so please let us know soonest, (as we will be away from 12th Jan till mid Feb), and we will send you our menu choices before we go.

Hi Maggie and Robin, We are off to Portugal tomorrow so here are our menu choices. From the "Walk in" menu... One sirloin of beef, one half Woodbridge duck, one cheese,and one trolley dessert.

Hi Jackie and Allan,

No probs at all. I have put you down on the list. The George will amend their numbers. That makes 18 attending. The London Room as you know can accommodate 24 on the oval table. We still have room for 6 more!

Hi Everyone,

An update.

Beryl and Alan Mendelson will also be joining our group for lunch at the George Hotel a week on saturday.
We now have 20 in number attending this annual luncheon. Should be a great get together.

If anyone else is interested, the George can accommodate 4 more covers. I need to know this weekend at the very latest though!

Hi Everyone,

Kerry and Tom can now make the luncheon. Total to date, 22 covers. Yipee! Should be a really good get together. Nice and cosy in the London Room.

This makes 11 Porsches. Hopefully we can do the annual scenic run after lunch to Nether Broughton on the A606, about 6 miles from the A46 Widmerpool roundabout.
