Hi Everyone,
I have now received confirmation from the George Hotel concerning next years menu and cost.
Prices have risen by £1. The cost for a main meal and dessert for 2011 will be £23 per person.
I have booked The London Room again at no extra charge. This splendid oak panelled room offers us privacy in a beautiful setting and caters for up to 30 covers!
Chris Pitman has again offered the courtyard in which to park the Porsche's in style. The early arrivals that is. The remainder of attendees can park in the secure private walled car park of the Hotel.
Same format as in previous years. Arrive early in order to browse around Stamford.
Lunch will be 12.30 for 1pm prompt.
Menu choice will be from the Oak Panelled Restaurant Lunch Menu.
To access this menu first visit The George of Stamford website. Click onto the Food and Drink icon.
Click onto the Oak Panelled Restaurant icon. Scroll down to the lunch menu.
This as you know gives us the opportunity to select anything from the menu rather than a narrow selection of two or three preferences.
Once you have decided your menu choice you will need to either email me with numbers and names attending and your menu preferences or email Kerry and Tom Fisher RO.
Once we have reached 30 covers I will post a full house on our forum.
We have also invited our neighbours from Region 4, Lincs who are more than welcome.
Individuals then pay their own bill at reception at the end of the lunch.
I will organise a scenic run through the Vale of Belvoir ending at the Red House Hotel A606, Nether Broughton. This is a superb run of about 50 miles through stunning countryside on brilliant roads.
Closing date will be Sunday 6th February 2011. I will then forward our numbers and menu preferences back to the George.
