hello all

Saddly, my lux must go, lack of funds and time...

make me an offer: porsche@redrecord.co.uk

all the info available on this page: http://www.redrecord.co.uk/porsche944.html

Im also interested in a swap for an Mot'd car or small van ( vw transporter style ) ( with some tax if possible )
Must be able to drive me to work 3 times a week with no problems ( 56 miles return a trip )
If I can't get a decent offer, car won't be for sale again untill the christmas break as this is my only ride to work.

best offer ( around mid 600's )and quick pick up will get the car, so I have time to turn round and find another car to go to work next monday.

thanks

PJB.

if its Mot'd and taxed to xmas and runs ok why on earth don't you just use it until Xmas ? At least you know it will be reliable and any car/van you get for £300 is just going to be another potential moneypit.

Thats what I would do. Forget the wing for now its not essential. You could always just aerosol spray it with primer to tidy it up a bit. Or you could get an overdraft !

Got to be honest, after all the previous problems you've listed here - starting with "is my engine going to die" - I'd be surprised if you sold it to anyone through this forum!! [8|]

people are welcome to go and have a look at the posts. (paul, i don't now why you post comments like that, this is for people with a slight interest in the car and parts )

I saw lux's in a pathetic state for 3 grand and im looking at 600's . The thread on is my engine gona die: If you took the time to read it, you would have seen some1 found the problem for me, over worn spark plugs, and overfill of oil in august... I let some1 put way too much oil in it... as a result, according to one of your members, overfilling caused the oil to travel up to the spark plugs... Is that correct, i think so because since, i've had no problems. Thhe first thing that came to my mind was piston rings etc...

The person who ll buy my car will either use it on track, or dismantle it for parts ( window motors, hatch motor, pop up light motor, interior in very reasonable state, almost quite good actually, gearbox, engine, cookie cutters, windscrfeen, stearing wheel, front wings and bonnet rear original spoiler, lights ( ive seen the same stearing wheel for 190£ refurbed) etc etc

. When I see the price of used parts, ( 60 quid a go for any electrical motor, 150 £ for tatty interiors ) i can see that car as a GREAT investement for some1 that has SPACE to work / dismantle.

obviously, id rather see the car on amateur race days, but after all, when it's sold, it's none of my business.

I wont be answering posts here, any questions to be sent at: porsche@redrecord.co.uk

regards and thanks

pjb

hopefully, this is clear enough and I won't have people posting their personnal views of the car. Ive been straight forward, honest, unlike the former member of this forum who sold me the car with a KNACkERED brake line ! and made sure he omitted that detail and nearly killed me on a40... nice one andrew W !

actually im gona start ranting now:
seen on porsche websites etc

Used interior: 200 £!
1 used refurbed stearing wheel: 200 £
Cookie cutters: 250£ so basically for that kind of price you actually get a car with mot and tax, and that drives.
