anyone done the ISV mod over here in the uk to stop the stalling

how far did you turn it?

marc

no real probs with 3.8 & lwf...just reset ecu...get engine hot......disconnect battery...leave for 15 mins...reconnect...let it idle for 10 mins.....this is what i was advised when mine was fitted and it seemed to work....

its a 95 build - have played with isv yesterday seems to have helped somewhat.

the disconnecting of the battery sounds a worthwhile try as well

marc

not just disconnecting the battery...follow details above....as in engine has to be HOT not just warm and times for each part of the process.......it basically relearns how to idle with the lwf........

Marc, '95 ECUs are prone to this, but you may be lucky if you get the ISV perfect ....

cheers, Maurice

have been trying to get the ISV right for the last couple of days - i think luck plays a REALLY big part as you say!

LWFW is really good minus the occasional red face at the traffic lights in a morning :)

Sorry, but with regard to your signature:

"Luvin' it" is quite possible, and quite likely, but
"Luv in it" is less likely and not possible unless you and partner are quite flexible.

LOL! she's only kylie size.... think she said something like 'what th F~#k have you bought as a car...' so whilst not having to be that flexible the likelyhood of needing to be fexible is nil :-( .... so no change there then :)

just done the battery disconnection this afternoon - that with a slight twist on the ISV seems to have done it.

cheers for the advice
