M-Tune ?

I have it in my basement - waiting for me to get my 2.9 ltr. stroker engine assembled.
I can unfortunately only tell that Rogue seems to be a really nice guy and the reviews I hear from the other side of the pond are extremely positive :)

Happy Easter everyone!!

Joshua does come across as a good guy though it seems he's very busy with other things now.

He is busy, I was talking to him about this some time back now. Difficult guy to get hold of at times. I still think I'm going to go A-tune in mine within the next couple of months though, not aiming for huge power so it should suit me fine

Yes, this is the only potential downside.

I'd be more inclined to go Augment than M tune - the 80lb/hr injectors seem pretty overkill for the majority of applications (although I have 55lb ones so could see te need to upgrade from the stockers)

However A-tune does seem a nice halfway house for a lot less money, I'd be interested to hear some real world feedback though (or have a go in a car equipped with it).

I'd like to buy closer to home too, but thus far it doesn't seem to offer much over a L2 kit....

May I ask what M-tune offers that Augment doesn't?

I run Augment which is total customisable which means you can support pretty much what ever you want.

If you feel confident enough to map yourself its easy to do and the rewards of a better than stock running/starting/driving engine are significant.

Pretty much this ^^^ not sure I want to, and M Tune is MAF and MAP and has supported some big power outputs already on fairly conventional builds.

Well it that's the case Tom can do it for you, I personally saw it as a benefit but I full understand if you didn't want to.
Tom has a dyno now too so as everyone knows the only way to get the best out of any car is a custom map developed on the car.

When I took my car it had a Promax L2 kit which I think was pretty good in its day but with just Toms ecu I was amazed at the improvement to drivability. The car responded to inputs quicker and felt less on/off above and below 3000rpm.

My point is have a chat with Tom before ruling him out. It's a great package that can be drive in drive out from someone that can offer support in the event of future improvements easily (not the far side of the Atlantic)

I haven't ruled Tom out completely but Joshua has a lot more people successfully running his setup.

There's quite a few of us running Tom's ECU setup now I believe [;)] I see the pluses to both though

I believe an M-Tune kit inc injectors and a re engineered Rogue DME is around £1350...
