just for reference, was doing some research on costs for replacing/ refurbing said shockers:

Porsche Lancaster Cambridge £78.12 each from Germany

Sportsline ~£40 each for refurb - 01280 702633

thought this might be useful for any winter overhaul projects ?

Nice one Chris. The previous best I've seen for rear M030 was £55 from Adrian at Exeter OPC (but that was 12 months ago)

Would be good to pin down a decent price as i will be getting a set of them too. £55 sound like a nice price if thats possible.

I bought mine from OPC Guildford in June. £66.73 + VAT (minus 10% discount).
I set them to one turn back from full stiff, which was fine initially, but after settling in for about 1500 miles they are now way too stiff. The car skips about all over the place. Must get round to adjusting them.

I was toying with upgrading but as I do around 500 miles a week I couldn't live with anything too stiff (ooer). Is it worth upgrading and is so does anyone have an recommeded setting?

I spoke to Adrian. He has M030 rear shocks that he can do for £53+VAT per each. When they're gone they're gone and he may not be able to repeat at that price. I have one pair bagged and I suspect another member might to do. 2 sets left then...

He can also do 968 M030 ARB kits (front, rear and bushes) for £330 delivered, I think he said.

I run a pair on my cab every day and they aren't too stiff even with standard fronts. If you don't horse them right up they're fine. Mine are mid-way I think.

Mine are mid way also and it is noticebly harder than the standard Turbo ones on my S2, but I'm happy with it on the road.

Seems we southern softies aren't, after all [:D]
