M522 SSX -968 Sport NOW ON EBAY

Now on ebay. Must have got fed up with it on the way home[;)]
Told me he was going to have it as a runabout.

Braver than me to put a warranty on that mileage.

Cheers
Dave

Have found out some history - thanks Carol & Simon - but need a bit more re the last 2 years & 20k miles odd. Yes should be cheap Dave, if it's not I won't be buying it. Would be nice for everyday use and the odd trackday with a spare set of wheels/tyres. Cheers Dave

Yes, but that was a lot of money sat doing naff all for 10 months of the year. In fact 11 months of the year. Was also definately not an everyday car. This one, perhaps with poly's, maybe Koni's, Goodridge hoses, a chip, exhaust system etc should be a lot of fun on the road for a lot less outlay and a couple of trackdays with the 968 massive[:D] A case of keeping it running OK instead of constantly spending for the sake of the track. Theoretically. Perhaps[&:] Bit like your bargain was 'till you maxxxxxxxed it for track[;)] Cheers Dave

Good luck at the auction - just stumbled upon it [;)] Interesting to see what it goes for. NB do you know someone with a trade account so that the buyers premium is low? -- if not PM me and I might be able to help. paul f

Too dear at £4550 with an inexpensive cylinder head job last year including re- metalling? and brakes to overhaul. Oil pressure looked OK, some paint here & there with a couple of dodgy panel gaps but a good starter Porsche for somebody. I think non account buyer. Cheers Dave

Oh well.. still a fairly cheap car for somebody....Depends on the "inexpensive"head job. Whats "re-metalling".????
