Macan

ORIGINAL: Beaky

Ok, when does R20 get to play with One?

When would you like one ?

I see from the pricing the Diesel S is the same price is the same as the Petrol S!!

So Porsche don't want to sell many petrol versions to the UK market then. (The Turbo is so much more!)

Petrol S will be for the US market who still think Diesel is 'Dirty'. (No Diesel version currently for sale to them).

What colour is the Macan S on the website as it doesnt look available in the build option. Yep the Turbo just seems so much more

On the next Ups and Downs tour [8D]

Interesting that the Macan is bigger than the Audi Q5 and almost as big as the Cayenne. Does this mean that Porsche will go down the same route as Audi: Q2, Q3, Q5, Q7? Will there be yet another Porsche SUV, but smaller than the Macan? I'll put money on it.

Will it be called the Cajun? [:D]

Indeed - it is not exactly entering a new market segment when it's only 20cm shorter than the Cayenne[:(]
At 4.68 metres the Macan is only 10 cm shorter than my Transit van!
I'm sure it will be a fantastic car, but if I wanted an SUV that size I'd happily buy a Cayenne.

I guess the next Cayenne will be "upgraded" to 6 metres . . .

Watch for the Hot Hatch VW/Porsche badged street rod .... powered by new 5 cylinder turbo diesel/petrol variants and available through VW dealers called the Ringo!
