Heads up!!

http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b01fcncc

Group B rallying incl interview with Mr Rohrl......

BBC4 9pm Sunday April 1.....

I would have suggested perhaps......dancing on wheels

and mad spectators.

but of course the £ in motorsport could not permit a highly skilled and entertaining sport to sideline the big earning boring unentertaining political game that is F1. (excepting the Senna, Lauda, Clark performances)

thx for the Heads up

Will set the sky plus for that... As when F1 was interesting it had to be the 1980s. (And the 1990s for British Touring Cars) At least the Moto GP and WSB provides exciting racing with heart wrenching action.

Astonishing footage. A trip back in time, I was madly into rallying at that time. My various RS Escorts, particularly a Mk 1 RS 2000 on Bilsteins and a Janspeed exhaust, were great, (I'd like another)

I still watch a fair bit of rallying but now the historic stuff including loads of nice Porsches

For those wanting some more motorsport on TV, highlights of the recent British GT rounds at Oulton Park will be on Channel 4 at 7.25 am on Saturday (21st April). Features 5 x 997GT3Rs driven by the likes of Richard Westbrook, Nick Tandy and Tim Harvey.
