MAF opinions

Hi guys,

I'm thinking of putting an offer on this MAF induction kit...

My knowledge on these systems is pretty weak and the forum posts I've read are pretty mixed. According to the Streathers manual the DME has to be altered to use this sensor and its use is advised on highly modified engines, where the injection system has been improved to deal with restrictions regarding its air/fuel combustion capabilities.


Can anybody add to this and is it a worthwhile standalone purchase (as far as i can see its a no)?
