MAF replacement

I have just replaced the MAF sensor unit on my '98 86k C2, and am staggered by the rejuvinating effect it has had on the car's performance, right through the revs. The unit was around £150 from Eurocarparts (or around £400 if you prefer to go to your OPC) and the operation was easier than changing a headlight bulb.
If you have ANY doubt as to the condition of your MAF I can thoroughly recommend getting it checked, and don't hesitate to change it if necessary.
That's the car sorted. Looking for a quick fix for me now.
