Has any one tried the new MAF kits that are being advertised,15% BHP and 20% torque..... it all depends on condition of engine like everthing else.It doesn't seem a bad increase for approx £800.

Have you seen this thread from the 944 forum.

The general concensus of opinion is that it is a good, genuine plug & play mod well worth the money. Reported improvements are not necessarily in power output but general smoothing out of the torque through the whole rev range, much more stable idling and general smoother running of the enigne. It's definately on my wish list.

There has recently been a group buy from Promax on these kits which I was going to patricipate in (before I was rear ended!! - car OK though just cosmetic damage) which was due to finish at the end of Feb so if you are quick you might still be able to get in there and get 12% or so discount. If you are interested I suggest you talk to Andrew at Promax.

Ian - did you go for the MAF upgrade with Promax?? Tomorrow is the deadline for the group buy so if you want a 10% or maybe more discount depending on numbers then tomorrows your last chance to order.

Thank you for the reminder, unfortunatly it is a to much money at the moment as the wife wants a new 3 piece and the lounge redecorating [:(],maybe something will happen in the summer.
