Have just been through my list of 964 RS and Cup articles and added a few I'd missed and some new ones (particularly the article on the 3.8 in the current Excellence).
As always if somebody knows of any I've missed please get in touch.

wish i did as that lot wouild look great lumped into one book. Then again I suspect the copyright reprinting issues would be huge with so many different publishers involved.

A fine book to own is titled CARRERA RS written and published by DR Thomas Gruber and DR Georg Konradsheim. It is quite large and Limited edition.3000 copies. It is dedicated to the 73 rs but the opening chapter is about the 92 car with some fine photos. There are many 964rs photos throughtout the Book.

Tony, I have a Christophorus, 3/92 Page 36
Pink Lloyd. Phillip Waldeck considers The Carrera RS
The Article is a reprint and was originally in the Auto Revue Vienna.
Also Porsche Post articles written by Adrian Palmer when he was register Secretary, convinced me!
Jeff

Thanks Jeff,

Do you have an electronic copy of the Christophorus article you could share?
Adrians articles were excellent - maybe the register could issue them as a set? (Melv?)
The Thomas Gruber book is good - copies regularly on ebay.

I have a list of RS relevant books but it's not always easy to separate good from average.

Tony the motoring press now realising that Porsche have lost their true heritage with the demise of the 964RS and not a chance of a renaisance are now clinging on to the true last driving icon the 964RS the purest Porsche for the purist....

All recent articles have compared he 964RS against the latest kit GT3/RS etc and we all know the verdict........it's a real 911 as the Dr. P would have wanted and killed off by the accountants US market and pandering to the Mercedes BMW market........sorry but to me driving my RS is a complete experience modern soft saloons sportscars you could be any BMW/MERC/JAG/ASTON............

Tony, I have all the issues of Flat6 since its inception. I will try to locate the issue in which they provide a listing of the issue numbers in which different models are reviewed, compared against others and so forth. In my view, still the best, most informed read in all Porsche magazines.

ORIGINAL: chfs911

Yes, but only if you speak French!  [:D]

Someone should do a deal with Flat6, translate the magazines into English, call it "6 a plat" and takeover the English-speaking market with a quality publication. Chfs911, you are not tempted?

Phil,
That would be great - I have a partial list from and article in issue 172 but I don't know how good or relevant they are.
Gradually trying to aquire through Ebay, but if you have any scanned copies that would be great[:D]

My french isn't great but I can't think of a nicer way to improve it!
