Hi all,

i,ve been looking for an inexpensive way to be able to mount my phone and still keep the car looking “standard”.

i decided to remove the cd storage and instead put a blanking plate there in its place. But first I bought a couple of magnets and stuck them on the back of the fascia Using duck tape.

seems to work like a treat.

oh also I bought a flush double usb lighter socket charger and a short lightening charger cable so as to keep the whole thing looking tidy.

looks good if I say so myself :)

So now I have google maps from my phone while I decide what I’m going to do with my stereo system.

br, Nozer

Have you got any photos of it?

I have a tetrax on the offside airvent which holds my phone securely.

I am still tempted by a screen mounted quadlock with the wireless charging head, I'm just struggling to justify spending £100 on it!
