Main beam drivers lamp light out...

Hi Folks.... Went out to the car to day to run it up then noticed that i had a ns high beam light out in the lower drivers lamp...Tried a few things like swaping bulbs,checked all connections and cleaned up connection surfaces,checked fuses but found nothing ...I HATE ELECTRICS ON CARS...any how any help would be appreciated.

Sounds like you've been lucky enough to get the damned screws out so that's a start.

Hate to say it but, after the things you have checked it sounds like you have a break in the wiring behind the lamp [:(]
 
its really very simple if you break it down to simple bits. You will need either a multimeter or at least a length of wire and a bulb and a couple of crocodile clips .
First is it the driving lamp in the bumper or is it the pop-up lamp that is not working ?
I am assuming the car in question is the S2 in your personal details yes
