More like MEAN dealer... another case of rip off ireland.
Just had the cayenne in for a major service and , well.......... what a farce.
Firstly they called me when they were servicing it and asked my if i wanted the pads replaced as they only had about 8000km left !!!, i was a little surprised to hear this question as i just had the pads replaced less than 1000km ago!! ,and secondly as many porsched do less than 8k per year in any instance ..
The next thing that got on my goat is the fact that my cayenneS (2003) has over 26k of extras on it bringing the total new cost to- .well you do the math.... and when asked about a trade in value against a new one in january was told that it had lost over 60% of its new value and now worth about 50 k..........( I have been offered over 80k for it elsewhere )
Needless to say I nervously laughed all the way home..
And now for the icing on the cake............just started the engine 3 DAYS AFTER THE SERVICE and the engine coolant level warning light comes on !!!, brilliant.
It took over 1.5 litres of the stuff to take it up to the minimum level.
Oh and I was also told that I would need new tyres soon ........ and yes you guessed it......... they too were also replaced new a few thousand miles ago.
One thing is for sure.........next time I need a service I will be taking a little trip to belfast.

[:D]
Well what else would you expect ?
I didn't even think there was a dealer in Dublin !

I would be severly p***ed off about the coolant level though. Thats serious stuff for these new fangled water cooled Porsches [;)]

Cheers,
Declan
