Hi
I thought that the many brains here may have a solution for my rear light conundrum to keep it cheap and simple.

I have brought my 997.2 (LED lights) to the NL where I am now living. In order to make it road legal, the RDW (DVLA equivalent) request that the rear fog light needs to be on the opposite side to where it currently is. The reverse lights are on both sides so I basically need to route the fog light cable from one side to the other. There seems to be a blue plug that is the fog light feed into the light fitting which seems to have what are holes (plug pins) in the back. Are these possibly there for a special connector that exists that can just plug into the back of blue fitting and be run to the other side of the car!!?? or do I need to actually re route this cable that ends in the blue plug to the other side?
Also, will my existing light housings have the fog capability on both sides or do I need to buy 2 fittings for LHD cars?

The front lights were easy as they have the switches inside the unit to convert to LHD beam.

So far, nothing else has come up as an issue so I hope that this (extremely petty) request is all they need.

Thanks for reading and fingers crossed someone knows exactly what I need to do!!

Hello!
Insofar as I'm aware (should be easy to check) the 997.2 rear LEDs still used a 'regular' bulb for the fog light.
If this is the case, then you're looking at your second option: Making the right-hand cable longer so it reaches the connector for the fog light on the NL side of the car. I doubt very much that you'll be able to buy the plug you need without having to also buy the rest of the loom for the rear end of the car.
