Malton Big Breakfast 11th October

Shame about the police standing watching people pulling away a little bit fast and then catching them on speed cameras on york road. Shameful

Really? Overt and advertised on the web.
There are massive safety issues that need to be policed.
100mph flybys, cars climbing trees and errant motorcycles have all added to the reasons for policing.
Unfortunately a must now.
Still allowed many spirited exits.

Did,nt see any 100mphs and anybody doing a spirited exit above 45mph in a 40mph zone will be getting a fine. Shame that more money was raised by the police than was raised by the charity at this charity event

Unfortunately in the past there has been stupidity and accidents so Police presence is both needed and welcome. As you said it's a 40 limit with many spectators. Not a place for reckless driving.
