Manthey suspension for a 993

Revalved KWs set to Manthey's specifications

Excellent kit, tuned for the bumpy 'Ring. This is actually a good thing for UK roads - particularly fast road setups.

Hi Richard

What is your intended purpose and platform ??

cheers, Maurice [:D]

Mostly road use with a few track days a year thrown in. Standard shocks were last changed on my car about 13000 miles ago by the last owner. The ride on road is not great, and doesn't give me a great deal of confidence on track either, so something better is needed.

Regards

Does anyone have any experience of this set up for the 993? http://www.jzmachtech.com/shells/tuning_product.php?pageNum=1&porsche=993&model=993%20C2&engine=3.6&year=1997&totalRows=8&id=7706

i.e better or worse than what is normally suggested. Certainly a little bit more expensive!

RF []

Have you considered adjustable H&R's ?

but the full monthy rather than Manthey i.e. with new RS wishbones, H&R Strut & Anti-roll bars and a few more bits.... for about the same.....

as addressing one area means IMHO you are still missing something on the overall package

regards
