Just a thank you to R24 R.O's Bev and Daryl.
You both deserve the thanks of the Board and your Region for giving such terrific support over the Festival weekend.
Without R.O's like you the Club would be the lesser. My greateful thanks to you both. [;)]

Bob - As a proud member of R24 I also think our RO's do a great job. Just wait 'til we invade the NEC in November!

Thank you on their behalf, they have created a wonderful esprit de cour and they always have our full backing.

PS We have a display at the Woburn Oyster Festival this coming Sunday (4th), last year the 12th one didn't work....or so I am told!

Many thanks to you both it is nice to be appreciated but we do it because we love our porsches and we enjoy what we do and the people that we meet and we will continue to do so for many years.cheers

Steve, I think you'll find that the wonderful esprit de car that you mention actually wasn't created by Bev and Daryl, but Lotus. You really should research these things more thoroughly before posting. [&:]

When I joined this region last year I was given the usual low down on a few of the regular characters present that first nervous evening.

"...and that chap in the corner is Mike "they said, "Watch him he can be a bit of a silly arse sometimes".

"Oh okay" I replied innocently.

Now nearly a year on I have had the pleasure of the man's company on many occasions and I think their comments were totally unfair and off beam. I don't think Mike is at all silly, complete maybe have been a more accurate prefix!

Have a good one.....and remember I have the photos to prove it!

I happened to be there when Bev answered her phone to be told that the people bringing the booze were delayed -at least you've got your priorities right!!

Keep up the good work and thanx for the cup of water!![:D]
