March Essex Region Meeting

dawn lang

Ex Club Member
As i've worked late for the previous two meetings I just thought i'd commit in advance to being at the next meeting on 8th March. Just wanted to check that it's still at OPC Colchester?

Think i'll take the old sharabang of a Fiesta i'm running round in at the moment (Box tucked up in the garage whilst it's cold) with me. That will confuse the poor security chappie. Wonder if he'll let me in???[8D]

Who's up for next month?

[:)]

I'm hoping to be there. Might even manage to get my car out of the garage this time - but let's see what the weather's doing before making any comittment!

I'll be there - providing I remember it's at Colchester and don't go to the golf club. []

Perhaps someone will e-mail me nearer to the event to remind me. [:)]

The usual reminder for the meeting will be sent out and I hope to see as many at Colchester OPC as possible. Let us show the OPC the number of Porsche enthusiasts there are in the region. I am hoping that the new service manager will also be in attendance. This is an opportunity for many of the less regular attenders, or first timers to come along and see what we have to offer.

For those members of Essex region who have not yet sent me their e-mail address, please do so now to r11@porscheclubgb.com.

See you all on the 8th!

Martin and Dawn - get a grip and get those Porkers out where they should be .... on the road..... any time of the year..... [>:][;)]

I'll be taking mine rain or shine, as long as I can get new anti-roll bar brackets welded on in time[:(]

I'm up for a convoy. That'll be a good way for me to get to know you guys rather than just stand around looking out of place![:)]

ok so please post where you will be coming from and we can try and work out a meeting point along the way.

I'm coming from Billericay so anywhere on the A12 starting at the Mountnessing roundabout (BP-McDonalds) although not much space but their is on the opposite side of the round about where the development land is....

Also maybe the last Chelmsford exit heading north.. is it Springfield?? The petrol station next to the car auction place has space I think and is probably good for most of us...

Timewise I will leave Billericay once I get back home from Londinium so 1900/1915 so can be at Mountnessing about 1910/1925 and then Chelmsford 10/15 mins later depending on trains and traffic of course.

Thoughts please.

Will, I'm about 20 minutes from Billericay. I'll be coming from A128/A127 before launching off onto A130 and then A12 so i'm happy to meet you wherever suits you best.

Just a thought - my boxster will be famous across the USA (slight exageration [8D]) by the time I bring it along (see note at top of Boxster section by Nic).

Yay!

Dawn bring the DVD and I will bring my portable player.... OPC probably have a DVD player in the little "waiting section" with the coffee machine too.

I'm just 10 mins away from the Regiment Way so the Garage next to the car auctions is good for me. I think its the Boreham Interchange, exit 19 from the A12....

I'm comming from Hockley, so will go up the new A130 and onto the A12, so could readilly intercept Dawn & Will.

Obviously I'll try to keep up but am keen to maintain my licence.

Hiya everyone,
