Next Meeting - Wednesday 14th March - the usual venue, The Red Lion, Northop 7:30pm ish arrival.

Have a feeling Paul n Val are on holiday - the original calender shows the drive to,and Sunday lunch, at Lake Vyrnwy - the weather isn;t great for this at present so i'll be happy to canvas opinions for an alternative date, or failing that aim for the last Sunday in March ?

Possible route something like...
meet somewhere near Mold, maybe the pub car park at the Red Lion ? around 9:30am
head through Mold and onto Denbigh via the A roads, through Denbigh and across the moors on A543 via sportsmans arms to Pentre-foelas, turn right onto A5, then left onto the B4407 road across the moors towards Ffestiniog. Left onto B4319 to join up to the A4212 along Lake Bala. Once in Bala, continue due southeast onto local road that winds its way through the forest down to Lake Vyrnwy, lunch at hotel at Eastern end of the lake...

sorry won't be able to make it again - going through a prolonged patch of working away whenever the club night is! I'm clear (so far) for April so I'll do my best to make it then. Might be on for a drive on a Sunday depending on dates.

The Red Lion,
Northop (thats Northop, not Northophall !!)

From the A55 take the Flint turnoff, and then follow signs for Mold - Red Lion about 600yards from the A55.
