[FONT=arial unicode ms"]As a (new) owner of a ...."fine example" I feel a little response to your musings over the current 3.6T prices would be appropriate. It is as you say 'intriguing' to see the recent prices going ever skyward, particularly at the moment. For me though the 964 wide body has always been a favourite, and whilst I was troubled for a while over my final decision; '64RS v 3.6T when I found out that my car was destined for Australia I was not so keen to see that happen to such a 'special' UK Press Launch Car like MINTY. [FONT=verdana, geneva"]
[FONT=arial unicode ms"]Prices for genuine examples wearing 50/60/70 thousand miles seem to be around £45 - 50k, and it goes without saying in my case I felt that the high end was a fair price for a straight/genuine/future classic - produced in such small numbers. The Blue car sold shortly before mine went to another enthusiastic 'multiple vehicle' - Porsche owner, who I know feels the same way about his 3.6T as I do.[FONT=verdana, geneva"]
[FONT=arial unicode ms"]In short I guess what I'm saying is prices will reach what people are prepared to pay, and I'm sure you'll agree on reflection that it was a good thing that pounds sterling were being paid for MINTY rather than Australian Dollars......now another fine ROW car stays in the UK where it belongs, for PCGB members to enjoy seeing in '09?[FONT=verdana,geneva"]
