Well done Mark with Patrick in Australia and you here, Porsche will be questioning why they abandoned the transaxle layout [:)] George 944t
 
From the 944 owners, a well deserved victory after a season of many highs & few lows, been great to follow you and this couldn't have been more deserved for a very nice bloke.

Thanks guys[:)],end of season was very tough,car was not what it was after trip to barrier at Oulton avoiding a car that was spinning in middle of circuit on first corner of race[:mad:],but we got there in the end,close,but just managed it,it was a race to get it to the race!!Just did enough. These transaxle cars are awesome !!!
 
Congrats Mark. That's really well done and I'm sure after a lot of blood sweat and tears...plus not a little dosh! I agree with George. Wonder just where this car might have finished had they continued to develop it. Still, it's great to see them continue to succeed in many corners of the globe. What plans for next year Mark?

Thanks Neil,been a bit better every year performance wise,better times etc.New fancy seat really made the difference this year. Occupied all three top end of year positions in C2 now,like Ted Rodgers 3,2,1 ![:)] My favourite year for fun and competitive racing was 2012 with Alex E and Paul F,pre slicks,car moved more and nice very close racing but safe,I remember going into copse side by side with Alex inches away from each other felt totally safe and confident,same with Mr F loads of room given,great memories ,happy days[:)]

Understood, but a shame as no one has really shown what a well driven 968 can do in CSCC Modern Classics yet.
