martini decals 930 1980

I have been restoring a 1980 3.3 Turbo, within the paperwork i found an early photo showing the rare M42 option code which were the martini decals, my car has been resprayed at some point in it's life and must have lost it's stripes at this point, i have been trying all avenues i can think of to trace replacment decals but have had no luck, is there anyone out there who could give me any help? (i have tried 'Porsche Decals' in the states +the dealer network and many independents!) For pics of what these stripes look like 911 and PW feb 2004 has an almost identical car on the cover. Many thanks

John Higson has just had his Martini Turbo restored by Graham Greene, and details of the company are in the back of last months PP (the one with the Rosewood Metallic Turbo restoration story).
They did find a set of original decals, but they disintegrated (not surprising really), so they had new ones made.....much easier said than done!
Good luck
John

There was a beautiful restored Martini Turbo on the R18 Lakes run last month, I'm afraid I don't know the owner but perhaps a post in R18 or an email to David the R18 RO might help. These cars look great, infact I was just reading the chapter on the Turbo's development & Launch in Ludvigsen's book this morning.

If John Higson and Graham Greene had new decals made up in vinyl they would have had to use a signage company, who in turn would have had to reproduce the outline shapes as vector graphic files to be computer cut.

I'd suggest your first call should be to Graham Greene to find out who they used.

Thanks for the pointers, i'm afraid i am new to this club and am unsure how i would trace contact details for either John Higson or Graham Greene, if anyone has telephone numbers or email addresses for either of these gents it would be appreciated, thanks for the help, John
